you can still use your shotgun just use regular ammo, and switch to ability cards that boost your damage like Focus Fire

if you can, take some sniper shots at them first with regular ammo as well

Varmit rifle for smaller things, bunnies and turkeys etc … anything smaller than that I’d use a bow with small game arrows. repeater for smaller/med things like foxes… personally when looking for large game I like to use a sniper, but Lancaster or bolt action will do!

Start a stopwatch at bounty mission start. Wait about 5 or 6 minutes before you head to the target so as not to trigger any in game timers too early. Capture target alive and turn him in when your stopwatch hits 12 mins.

That is the maximum payout and gold per hour on bounties.

Basically you just want to turn them in between 12 and 13 mins after the mission begins.

What I am talking about is the standard bounty board missions you do from the various towns.

I'm telling you my way above is tried and true. Heavily tested. 12 min timer is max money and gold gains per hour if you are running boards.

At 12 mins per mission completion, it isn't a lot of waiting tbh considering the return on investment. The returns dimish every 2 mins after the 12 min mark. So the people that wait and turn bounties in 14, 16, 18, 20 mins after mission start or "waiting for 30 seconds" are in fact losing out on a ton of money and gold and wasting time.

Rushing them is def better than waiting for 30 seconds.
