With that said, I would like to ask if there’s a way to tell when the person that you have a bounty for, first takes off trying to escape? You'll usually receive a prompt to hit them if they're stowed on your horse, although it doesn't show at times for some reason. I'd suggest knocking them out once you've hogtied them; they'll stay knocked out for the remainder of the ride to jail. The only bounties you're unable to knock out are legendary ones. Also If you haven't bought the reinforced lasso, I highly suggest you do. Bounties will take a lot longer to break free compared to the normal lasso.

The next best is whitetail buck; they give 12.5 material value, along with pronghorn, bighorn and whitetail deer (8 material value). Donate feathers aswell, they give 5xp each. If you don't feel like hunting birds, you can always purchase feathers from Madam Nazar and donate those to Cripps

More precisely, I think I figured something out

Bounty’s rewards (even legendaries) are cut by half if you are in a persistent posse, but if you’re in a temporary posse, it doesn’t seems like the rewards are cut at all!

I might be wrong, but that’s literally what happened

Did three bounties in a persistent posse and got paid basically nothing with my friend, and as soon as we switched to a temporary posse the few other bounties we did were normally rewarded (similar to what I receive when I’m playing solo)

They rotate the monthly bonuses, last month bounty hunter, this month moonshiner etc. it wont be long until its the collectors turn so I suggest unless you really need the money hold on to your collections and sell them when there is a bonus. You can collect multiple sets of each and make some serious money! 😎

It takes 2min per good, so if you're starting out it'll take 50min to fill a small wagon of 25 goods (not including resupply missions). For a full wagon of 100 goods it takes +- 4h to fill. There's a skill you unlock at trader rank 10 which increases the amount of raw material you donate to Cripps. It makes filling up your material bar a lot faster.

Cougars and panthers but they're rare to come by. I'd focus on whitetail buck and deer, as well as pronghorn or bighorn. You'll find them roaming the Heartlands and Great Plains

If you don't have a hunting wagon yet, you can stow a carcass on your horse and lasso another to drag it back to camp
