it's not bad per se. I've been playing it first to grind the online achievements but is quite slow (granted, i say this when this is the newest rockstar game i played since 2010). the 3xp events help a lot with it but imo while the world is richly detailed and activities are fun, is an empty open world (not on activities, but in things that exist in there -3/4 parts of the map are forests, mountains, etc-)

it was running on i5-1135G7 which is older CPU, on about 25-30 FPS, im pretty sure you can run it on around 30 if you optimize settings

you might have some drops in towns, i would benchmark it and set FPS limit so it keep stable a bit more, so your eyes will not hurt that bad

i wanted gold quick first too, but i started enjoying having small-to-nothing at the start and grind up for that role, its not that hard to get gold with free roam missions anyway, and while waiting to waste time, i pick flowers or skin animanls so i can sell it, that way i do mission which is usually 0.3-0.4gold and about 30-40bucks including sold herbs nor furs

it breaks immersion if you get gold quick by creditz card or someone gives it to you

oh yea + 0.4 gold for reseting challenge which is quick with collecting herbs while killing time for more rewards in free roam missions

Yeah definitely go for single player when you can. It took me so long to get the single player trophies due to the fact you have to skin and study over 500 animals. Also gold rush took awhile

turns out the overrun gamemode is actually even easier than the hostile territory.
I got a map with objectives basically in a circle and just kept running around capturing them, making sure I had the most captures.

You'll know when you've completed the story cause a card will popup in the top left saying you've completed the land of opportunities storyline. There's 4 honorable missions and 4 dishonorable missions and 4 not requiring honor so 12 in total
