but the naturalist is you find legendary animals and sedate them then take samples and give them to harriet for money

You cannot exactly know where a train is located at a certain time, you will just need to go around or wait at a station. When you are in a close vicinity of the train it will show up on your map

Nah there is no actual hunter role but if you love hunting you can try out the Trader role in your camp. You need to bring carcass and pelts to cripps and he will make goods out of that, then you can sell those goods. It is the closest thing to a full on hunter role. it costs 15 Gold bars and can be bought in the camp itself

Actually @quiet vector to get your role horse you can to go to the stables. Rather it is locked for you or unlocked for you, you will be able to view role horses. The handheld catalogue will allow you to purchase horses, and depending on your roles/rank you may get a free one.
