first time hopping on today

havent even been on for an hour

i load in to the session i go to search for a main mission and during the que a bounty for me starts

i get hunted by a guy he hogties me then just kills me horse for the fun of it

bounty over, i chase him because he killed my house i try killing him and of course its a fucking modder with godmode on

and so then i load into a new session

not even a minute into that one i spawn next to a guy ontop of a roof, he immediately kills my horse and then me

he then calls me ass and continues to kill me because controller gives fucking aimbot and then we shit talking in gamechat i challenge him to a fist fight with no health cures and his buddy even tried interefering and i beat them both fist fighting called them ass cause they cant doing anything without guns a controller and health cures

If you do, try free aim, it gives extra xp

Free aim on console sucks due to the sluggish, choppy and delayed control responsiveness + bad performance but perhaps it's good on PC

Though I think if you play on a KBM, auto aim isn't even a thing

But other than that, to grind gold fast, do bounty hunting missions (especially legendary ones) and finish daily challenges (and other challenges like getting log in streaks)
To grind money fast, focus on trader role and moonshiner role
To grind xp fast though, just play more often

Yes, you can lower your reputation (stranger missions from the evil guys are easy ways to do it) to get access to lower honour missions. If you later raise your honour you will have to lower it to get access to replay them etc.

Also you can select specific missions to replay under "progress">"story missions".

I’d recommend doing the intro to start, then some story missions to get cash and gold. Also, horse insurance. You’re gonna want it every time. Always. You can’t tame horses or keep stolen ones so buying them is the only option and they are pricey

Yeah I had the Fox Trotter, it’s faster than the mustang, but at least mine is way more skittish and I’ve since put her in the stable long term and kept the mustang out

Theres no actual “stat” for skittish ness either way mostly depends on bonding when you are actually on the horse

And patting the horse makes you more or less glued on the horse

Its more getting the horse to come to you thats the issue

Every 5 levels you get one and very rarely you can loot people and get them

Also very rare to get to spawn but treasure hunters will spawn as a random event and if you kill them and loot them you get one

Im having quite an issue. My main horse is working great... until I start bounties or story missions, then they switch him to my old horse. How do I stop this? She isnt my active horse and doesnt haev a saddle

So far I only met 2 "aggressive" players, and in one case I'm pretty sure it was my fault 😊 there was a fight going on, I totally didn't see that it was a player fighting NPCs and joined the fight, shooting the player too... Of course I ended up face down in the dirt because I was really new and he massacred me 🤣

Its a little of an unwritten rule to not mess with low levelled players ofc not everyone follows it

But usually high level players is fair game
