Follow the main storyline staying honourable, and finish it. This'll net you a good amount of money, and is easier to go from honourable --> dishonourable than vice versa to finish the dishonourable line of missions

after this, invest in what role you may seem most interested in, as it's better to have fun than to have a non-enjoyable grind, where personally people tend to choose bounty hunter

Great xp and money method as you get xp by picking collectibles and by selling a set its 1500 xp each, and most of em are very close to each other, last day I got like 5 sets in 1.5 hours in one run through the whole map.

Got grieved by 2 guys, so I loaded up. Killed the guy that killed me first, then his friend. We went at it for a bit, they didn't get a single kill on me. After about 10 deaths on each of them, they called in a friend. Annihilated him too. 3v1 and killed them so many times I ran out of bullets on my bolt, revolvers and repeater. They left the game.
