Bot hosting has been a problem for a bit and I cannot self-host the bot.
Will probably use a standard modmail if it gets too much but Alden will return eventually.

The staff apps did close and they are currently saved, my current internet connection has gone to shit and Discord itself has been very iffy on both my mobile and laptop regardless, however if you haven't had your app denied or accepted, it's still there and will be under review whenever I can.

As one of the largest RDR2 communities out there it’s safe to say that the community has a wealth of knowledge to offer. We would like to remind you all to refrain from clicking mysterious links/images. This includes scanning QR codes, there is a well known issue with the QR allowing people to access others accounts and gain control. These scams usually entail promises of free nitro/among other things.
If you moderate a server we suggest you delete any and all messages containing QR codes from users you don’t trust.

THE ONE ABOUT VOICE CHANNELS AND PATCH NOTES

We usually like to refrain from server pings if we can help it but at least one of these changes is worth noting for those who use discord voice channels.
1) Server rules update.
Nothing major here but some minor updates to our current rules as well as replacing some i accidently removed with the last update. just take a minute to familiarise yourselves with them.
2) Patch notes
I mentioned this some time ago but i didn't work as intended until now. If you head to #550659240633827329 and click the emoji for server rules then you will given the RDR2 News role and be notified automatically as soon as patch notes go live.
3) Voice channels
As many of you know we use a unique way of handling our voice channels. To Create a channel you have to click the channel called "create vc here" this will create you your own room named after the room creator. We are finally happy to announce that the long awaited update has arrived and you are now given the option to lock your room from unwanted visitors and also to rename you room as you please. This can be used for something as simple as letting others know you are bounty hunting so they can join for that specific activity.
You can find these steps in #666322619179466788 but I'll pop them here too...
• Step 1:
You must create a voice channel using “create vc here” under voice chat.
• Step 2:
After creating your own voice chat you will then need to navigate to the #bot section of the server.
• Step 3:
While you’re in the #bot section of the server, you will need to type a command in the text portion of the channel.
!pblock to lock the vc.
!pbunlock to unlock the vc.
!pbRename NEW ROOM NAME to change the name of your room.
We expect a certain level of maturity with this function. Don't be surprised to have your room deleted and permissions to create another revoked if abused.
Reminder: to leave a voice channel after you lock it, you will need to navigate back to the #bot section and unlock the vc again by typing !pbunlock.

Hey all, just a little server update.
Waited on this announcement to make it right and make sure everything remained running smoothly and work out a few things. However, about a week ago, ownership of the server has changed over to me and thought I'd let everyone know. The previous owner has his reasons for leaving that will remain private until they wish to put it out publicly themselves, but I am happy to continue our community.
Everything will stay how it has with minor changes, such as the patreon being done and #community-content returning for all your art, videos, streams and any self-created content.

Hey all, announcement regarding the Mee6 situation.
We've seen most of you have noticed Irish/Mee6 no longer works. This was because as of yesterday, it's leveling system turned premium and we no longer had access to the leveling system we had. However, we have been able to transfer everyone's Mee6 XP over to Gaius Play and can continue from there, but with less roles at a higher level space between, from 5-10 and only 6 ranks. Over time, more will most likely be added as more people level up, but this was to free us of colours to use as well. If you want your new rank, you can either keep chatting to level up, or head to #bot and do ">level up" and Play should give you your new ranked role.
On top of this, we have added a few new Achievement roles:
Best in the West (100% Completion)
Gold Rush (70 Gold Medals)
Zoologist (Study Every Animal)
Notorious (Reach Rank 50 Online)
You can get these by DMing modmail and sending proof of the achievements including your username, gt, or psn.
