Arabians are good for general use, they are decently fast and have good stamina and health though their size does not help as it makes them more prone to buck you off if in proximity to a predator or attacking enemies. The Missouri Fox Trotter is the fastest horse in the game, it is slightly larger than an Arabian but has lower health I believe. The Turkomans are useful due to not being scared easily. They are in the higher ends of the speed spectrum but not in the top ranges though they have a lot of health. Those are the top three types of horses in my opinion unless you would want to count Buell, the Cremello Gold Dutch Warmblood, or Rachel; the horse given to you in the epilogue.

If the name sounds familiar thats because he isn't completely cut, as he has a few books in game as well as a Cigarette card dedicated to him

funnily enough, in the same town where you start the quest, Valentine , a Grave can be found with a few Bullet Casings in front of it, while it doesn't have a name, Hecks card sits among these Casings

I assume this is a reference to the fact he was cut

One more fun fact about Heck

dialog exists of him in game, and guess where it is of all places

the Tumbleweed Saloon, where the bar tender has a voice line where he references Heck getting gunned down inside of the Saloon

it's possible this was a part of the quest

but yeah its interesting how detailed he is yet he was cut

if my Theory is correct, maybe it was cut due to the possible reasoning of needing to win to progress

maybe Rockstar wanted it to where players didn't have to learn how to play poker to progress one side mission, and just cut it

but... if this was the case, they could have pulled the "YOU FUCKING CHEAT!" from RDR1

The Fisher of Fish Cutscene is weird since they use the Animations for John, since Arthur has no real animations for it I believe
