got a clip soon of the combat with my current weapon set against guards about 4 levels above me which tbf isn't much, and just in case it helps any here's more of what apparently makes Geralt way better at fighting and killing than others, probably gonna look into it more myself since im still fairly new to Witcher 3
just realized how dated my weapon set is in damage, even the weakest armorer weapons are almost caught up now but im lvl 20 using a lvl11 weapon

also maybe worth mentioning that sometimes they will just power through your attacks, especially if you just keep swinging at them and dont let up so that you'd have to back off, also still have not seen a single good axe that wasn't a unique one, and weapons cant be upgraded to follow in your level and keep up with damage unfortunately

some enemies got quick attacks, seeing the speed geralt swings his swords im either not sure if he's going all in on it or if he'd actually be fairly slow and worse off as a professional monster killer with a bigger weapon
