Eh, actually moving your honor up or down is actually very easy.

To make it go up, either walk around a town and greet everyone you see for awhile. It's tedious, but it works. Or if you like to fish, catch and release.

And Arthur's plan was to give some of that money to everyone alive in the gang before he dies of tuberculosis
