If you want a remaster of RDR1 get ready to buy a next gen console because GTAO standalone is next gen exclusive. Ontop of that did you not see the defective trilogy? That was a failure. As for an RDO overhaul that would never happen because rockstar gave up on the weekly updates at one point. You’re better off buying a PS3 or Xbox 360 second hand, they’re relatively cheap unless you live in a third world country and a cheap copy of RDR1.

Oh, you guys ignore my badger issues (!), it's true I found beaver pretty easily, in game too. Badgers are amazingly hard to find pristine pelts. What am I doing wrong?

I'm also hoping giving the butcher my perfect cougar and wolf pelts prior to having to craft the Wicked Witch of the East Satchel is ok, he'll save them for that ?

No more need for scent cover? Badgers are the griefers of RDR2? I've been doing the run by the North West, cause it has cougars, wolves and badgers in one place.
I had tried the place by the oil dericts and just bunnies and hunters/bounty hunters that sometimes died with me practicing how to throw poison knives, looking for better horses to ride...

Never a Foxtrotter, or even a thoroughbred either. So, sometimes they died because they had crappy horses and I got pissed.

I think it sells for 500 if your honor is neutral. Given what I read, the game leans towards a redemptive arc, so even if I kill ppl for practice, I do chores and stuff to ensure I don't go too low honor... Idr my completing the game my first play thru... then again I could have early onset age related dementia...

I went there because I remembered the place. You may get jumped going there with your horse, but I always make 3 saves, incase something happens that I call bs on.

I put the marker far to where I want to get to... ride to it, move it far to the place I can go before the "fog of war" makes it impossible, and continue until I get there.

Rhodes is an important place to get to as well, and it's on the way to Saint Denis.

I would open the map up as much as possible so you have the points of fast travel opened even if it's before you have the money to use fast travel. That's the other reason why I went to Saint Denis, Rhodes, Strawberry and Van Horn (Annesberg too, but meh).

Annesberg environs is dangerous if you can't shoot from your horse, things always attack me on the way out south from there. Mostly animals.

Always do your chores to increase your dead eye xp, and practice to increase dead eye. Eventually you will be immune to animals trying to jump you from behind, and even ppl trying to hold you up as you want to cross a bridge too.

You have to learn what increases cores and what increases the circles around the cores, and have them on hand. Important game mechanic too.

And consider getting herbs to season your meat. (hunting meat). Very useful for oregano, mint and thyme. There's a trinket that doubles the harvest of those herbs too, which I got early.

I also have a slow horse, and I think there's a main mission where I have to chase a young guy, which with my war horse, I think he'll get away. Yeah the arabian is fast, I could use it only for that quest. There are two ways I read to get a FoxyTrotter: find the robbery in Saint Denis, or do this photograph thing too...

Haven't tried either yet, cause Badgers have teamed up with skunks, opossums, muskrats and bunnies trying to deny me my perfect pelt.
