just so you know, there’s an encounter that happens at night an arguing couple gets robbed and the woman is shot. You can be the hero and save her but in this case let her die and then make the poor husband’s life (or what’s left of it) even more miserable by stealing his horse, which just happens to be a black Arabian.

If not try to get the black Arabian, you can get it from a random encounter, it happens at 1am I believe, a couple gets held at gunpoint, you can just ignore them or shoot the thief then you go left and the Arabian should be there but be careful because you can be reported for horse theft

The only disadvantage I can think of for Arabians is that they are big scaredy cats, if I’m riding through the swamp and I see an alligator, my Arabian just throws me off her back and runs away

ok, so:
In a gunfight, to leap hold aim and press square when you’re aiming with a gun(the button used for greeting generally) along with a directional key to dodge/jump in that direction. Also useful when an animal is charging at you, you can just jump out of the way if you time it right. Now next in fist fighting, pressing the same key will simply block. But if you hold a directional key with it, Arthur will dodge. Remember dodging costs more stamina but you take 0 damage compared to blocking if you time it and do it in the right direction. Also you can follow with a heavy damage dealing counter, which is my go to strat for first fights

Usually exploration is best back in Chapter 2. But it's still is enjoyable after that up until Chapter 4. I mean you can still explore in Chapter 6 but he gets considerably weaker by then.

@thick pewter Yeah, Horseshoe is best when it comes to exploring imo. Clemens Point got the best in-camp setting but also one of the weakest placement unless you want to explore more of the swamps.

Chapter 4 is Shady Belle has one of the worst camp setting (imo) but best placement if you like to frequent in Saint Denis.
