@proud cipher If you're in chapter 4 there's a Brother Dorkins stranger mission in Saint Denis. There's an option to help deal about the underground slave market and it's in the Fence nearby. You go save them and go to the cash register abmnd have the option to give the money to them - for extra honor

For all strange missions in each chapter type in on Google search ‘Red Dead Redemption 2 Stranger Missions Walkthrough’ it’ll show you each one that unlocks in each chapter.

On Guarma there are animals to study and skin/pluck. There are 2 different Macaws and 3 different snakes though the Fer-De-Lance Snake can be found in Stillwater Creek near Thieves Landing, but I wanted to study n skin on Guarma just in case.

These animals are only found in Guarma:

Blue and Yellow Macaw
Great Green Macaw
Rainbow Boa Snake
Red Boa Snake
Red Footed Booby (I know, funny lol)

Others you’ll find are
Cuban Land Crab
Boars
Fer-De Lance Snake (would recommend getting it in Guarma though)
Green Iguana

You only have one chance to free roam before starting the mission with Dutch because after that, all the missions are back to back.

Head to the right from the camp and down to the river, following the path to the end where you can find some ledges to climb and reach Dutch. Follow Dutch through the caves until you reach the compound and then follow him again as you make your way to a nearby building.

Acceleration also matters. There’s a reason why Arabian is considered the fastest cuz it has the most acceleration, speed on the other hand doesn’t rly matter since you can win horse races to get max speed for literally any horse, but acceleration can’t be gained other than a little boost from stirrups
