It's not that. The fast travel isn't in the way. I can choose to sleep and pick the duration. But after choosing the dialog box goes away and nothing happens. I can do it repeatedly but no sleep. Not a big deal. I jump in the horse and camp outside the fence.

Not all, Ive hunted 4 so far (one i failed to kill with a bow, but at least i was able to skin it, so technically im still looking for more)
You should go back and forth at river near owajilla lake. And at the road near the Legendary moose. Those two spots have the most cougar spawns

Also, when you're at the legendary moose spot, you can use the abandoned trading post to sleep there instead of camping with the Murfrees jumping on you
You just have to camp/sleep to get a spawn the next day or every few days

I don't think I've seen that encounter. However, if you read the wolf man's journal there's a lot of links between what's written and items you can find in the gunsmith's basement. So idk besides it's just a theory a game theory

Nah, they’re useless. I never used them except once, that too I don’t fancy opening the cheat menu every 2 seconds to remove my wanted. They could’ve done something like never wanted along with similar adjustments to a lot of the other cheats

I'm kinda surprised how difficult they make the timed run from van horn to blackwater. As soon as the hunters spawn the camera goes to the side and if I switch angles it gets far worse.
Had a cougar chasing me and all I could see was the zoomed in side if the horse.
Feels broke af. Can't steer, can't outrun the wildlife with the white arabian. WOW!
