I save before any mission or essentially before any encounter with someone that looks like a special encounter. You can tell when it is going to happen. But I'm anal about it.

Plus since the game seems to crash for me once every day or so I don't want to lose anything

And if trying to get gold medals on missions, it is vital unless you are better than me. I have had to repeat most of them

To get gold medals you usually have to rush and not mind the story or conversations, which ruins the gameplay a lot. I absolutely hate the medals system, both in gta and red dead. I honestly think it's so unnecessary and just a waste of time and effort, it was the major thing why I couldn't give the game 10/10

Medals just feel unnecessary and ruins the immersion. Imagine if Witcher 3 had medals. "Gold medal: Don't use your sword - finish mission in 30s" and you have a sword build...

Shouldn't matter how you do a mission, sure what you do should matter, like your choices impact, but not how you choose to go about to complete it, whether you get headshots or kill them with a knife, they're still dead - mission successful

I was trying to fill the compendium so I was buying and then immediately reselling horses that aren't in the wild. After I did 3(?) it said the stable can't buy horses "for a while" went to two other stables and they said the same thing. Slept for a day but no change. Wonder if it's a 72 hour thing or something.

You basically need to make someone near Beecher's mad, when he starts shooing, start running to home, but make sure the enemy doesn't leave. When the game says "Enemies were lead to camp/home" and the game makes you lose honor, quickly kill yourself with some dynamite and then when you spawn, make an camp then bam.
