Since I haven't seen it prior to being diagnosed by a doc in any other run yet, and they have both been high honor, I'm led to believe it's a direct result of having low honor.

Upgraded pump action with highest rounds other than explosive. I always shoot people that need more than 1 shot while I'm mounted. Like any mission I have to be mounted it happens.

I'm guessing, since I don't carry my own "Long scoped" that I was given the Carcano for a reason-it has a LONG scope. That's what was used and I counted 5 from the immediate interaction. Total was like 10 or so. I guess the problem is discovering who tf a "Soldier" is. Now that I think about it it's probably those that give chase after we hear the horn sound. HHHmmmm checking those head shots now.

They look like any other gang if you ask me but, in this case, we'll call the gang on the wagon in the "Delights of Van Horn" mission "Soldiers". ONLY the one's on the wagon even though we hear a military horn before we see every other group of NOT soldiers.....just whatever they might be. Jesus!

I save the game in VH to do Delights of VH mission. This after I went and did a bunch of stuff to help my chances of finishing with gold like going to SD to get better ammo and see if I can use a different gun. Last time I play "Delights of VH" for gold until I try clearing all for gold:
20/21 fired shots hit.
15 Headshots including the 5 consecutive at the very beginning on the wagon, mounted and on the ground.
Shooting ends in under 3 minutes.
This was definitely my best attempt yet---I think.
I see other people complaining about this stupid mission, too. If you met the 85% accuracy requirement then you lose 1/5 headshots at the beginning. It also doesn't tell you that those 5 at the very beginning are to be considered the "Soldiers". You know because they look so different than the rest........WTF?!?!!?!

So it seems the game is quite forgiving when it comes to attire and I'm curious how people use the fast travel in relation to attire. So if you're going from Colter to Shady do you put warm clothes on before you get there or after?
I haven't noticed much of a problem as long as you change relatively soon but sometimes it really seems like they give you like half an hour real time to change.

I found the best, most productive way to make money would be fishing. $4.25 per trout but if you sell them in St. Denis that goes up to like $5.18 or something similar. If you have the east satchel it's just so simple. If you use controller yu can learn the tugs and when to recast the line so you don't affect honor if that's your goal. But as far as minimal time invested for return it's amazing. Least dangerous, no shooting, no fighting, no risking jail, etc.
Another nice one is potent snake oil. So easy but you have to wait for it to grow back and much more travel involved.

Ya the pronunciation is rather butchered. I took French for a bit in college. The first word is pretty tough to describe it's pronunciation but it's almost like "Soan" but you cut off the "N" and put a strong H in it's place. Explaining the accent is very tough but it's very nasaly, back of the throat. Then "Denis" is "Duh-knee". That's about as closely as I can explain it.

OK I just had the most rare thing happen in the game. It wasn't around the eagle eye but it acted similarly. It also wasn't the dead eye that's empty. I started sprinting and immediately got a very loud bassy sound very similar to when the eagle eye goes into cool down or wutev th that is but a massive red flash went across the screen with no prompts of anything. I'm gonna post it in media and I'd lobe to hear if anyone knows, for sure, what it is. This has happened I think twice now in almost 800 hrs of play. EXTREMELY RARE! Maybe I can get the motivation to some day edit all my small vids and throw em up....maybe.

Watching a tut of "Favored Sons". They get 10 shots onto soldiers from the cliff and Eagle tells them their moving up. They run onto a rock, climb up it, then wait a brief second then start getting engaged. When I try it I see like 5 people from the cliff with aim assist cranked and far before Eagle ever says anything about another group moving up we're already surrounded from the left of where we were facing and directly behind us. HAHAHAHA That's not including the time the creator took to reup on some D.E, tonic, then decide to go to the left and take them out before casually turning to another group. Weird how vastly different my screen seems to be compared to theirs. I only see smoke down there and the aim assist seems to pick up enemies when they just ducked behind a tree.

WOW-just reloaded the game when I was pushing the plunger on the army. I spawn back in and Dutch is having his conversation with the Army even to the point where we hear gunshots but no one was there so I fired into the mountain and it ended. I wonder how long it would have gone on for. Probably would have gotten gold on the mission.

That north/south rd bordering the west side of "Big Valley". You'll find that in the big word "WEST" for west elizabeth. Keep traversing that long north/south road and you'll def get one.

Since it's been a few here was the problem again:
Used D.E. till it was completely drained then used tobacco for the yellow ring then I drank some brandy to beef up the core and it wouldn't do anything. So I just tested it and I was right, it was a bug or something.
