One of the optional objectives is “kill both guards with headshots”, but in the mission you use one of them as a hostage because he didn’t die from Arthur’s shot. You don’t generally survive a headshot from a sniper rifle, especially with no side affects and he seems to be completely fine. And I did headshot both of them. Lol

@kindred jackalI love the fishing interaction. Well I use controller and it's so interactive. You get the hard tug feeling with the vibration, you can change the reel mechanic as well. It's the most enjoyable fishing experience I have had in any game that has fish as a pretty big deal.

Yep. Especially seeing as she goes from being a housewife to an outlaw with remarkable aim in what, a single mission? She might've shared the work, hunted for food and such, but that couldn't account for the aim she has in that mission where you go to Rhodes for groceries.

One way they could've made her character more interesting is seeing her get better as an outlaw every chapter, maybe Arthur training her, instead of making her a murder machine from the get go.

it’s quite unrealistic on how she went from a widow with basic survival skills to a killing machine over the span of a mission by changing some clothes.

She tries too hard to prove herself and keeps killing unnecessarily. She wanted to rob a shopkeeper in Rhodes and would’ve done it had it not been for Arthur. She ruins plans with her need for bloodshed, like in Saint Denis with Colm O’Driscoll’s hanging and also with the hot air balloon mission. The latter event cost the life of Arturo Bullard, who was far more likeable than Sadie if I may add. Sadie Adler also has more plot armour than most other characters. Arthur dies realistically of TB and Eagle Flies, Susan Grimshaw and Lenny Summers all die realistically from a single bullet. However, Sadie has been stabbed and held at gunpoint by Micah, and she still has the energy to talk and ends up surviving. Rockstar not only ruined John, but they couldn’t let Arthur Marston win a fight on his own for once. Also, let’s not forget the cringey dialogue she’s been given like “DIE DIE DIE”. Her character development is minimum and her only goal is to kill O’Driscolls.

She's female Micah. Even has the same hair colour as the guy. She's a wild psycho who is immediately okay with the idea of killing, and does things that Arthur and all the others conveniently excuse, but if Micah did them, they'd just be used as further examples of how the guy is unstable and not good for the gang. The one thing she has going for her is that she had a husband who was killed, which makes her ever so slightly more sympathetic than Micah, but it's almost completely negated by her callousness.

She's even worse in the epilogue. When you imagine a world where virtually NO Van der Linder has a happy ending, not even John and Uncle, Sadie comes across as a child that people were afraid to punish because she was too pretty. A BRAVE decision by Rockstar would have been if they'd actually made Sadie side with Dutch. I actually would have applauded them for having some focus there, because it would have dovetailed really nicely with her actions and attitude, but despite being a bloodthirsty psycho, she still somehow recognises that Dutch is... ALSO a bloodthirsty psycho? And that's bad? Like she hasn't treated the gang disrespectfully and almost done things to ruin them all? You say she's one of the best, I say she's one of the worst they've ever done.

If you want Sadie but not terribly written, look at Bonnie in RDR1.

I haven't seen the Swanson talk but I think talking to Swanson would be more fitting for either honour ngl

It makes more sense to talk to the man you've known for years instead of some random nun you basically just met a few days ago from a storytelling point of view imo
