The very start of the tutorial they are using a rifle, I can't. Something has apparently changed since it's inception I see. Almost everything says no health items too but the guide on their wiki never says that. Well rarely I think.
I own like 5 rifles and I think I have 3 on the horse. Well 1 shotgun, carbine, a longer rifle than the carbine I think. Other stuff.

No camp was set up. It completely skipped it. We had no ride together. All of it was skipped. I thought it was kinda weird. Well I still got the headshot on the sniper but took massive amounts of damage. I am really bad at shooting games with wicked shaky hands and never been good at them anyway.
The tutorial was insanely sick. Literally just walking up behind Sadie as she takes off picking off everyone without them even showing on the minimap. Didn't even know that was possible.
I try it and aim at nothing, no one there until they shoot me then I can see them either with eyes or on the map.
WOW that's actually one of the challenges for gold-no damaage. I always take damage. It's the only way I can see if anyone's there. HAHAHAHA

RDR2 did a poor job of portraying an enriching character such as John. I feel like they took a giant shot on him and called him nothing. He had much more development and character in the span of RDR1 than he did in RDR2. RDR2 writes him off as some deadbeat father who barely does anything the entire story until the epilogue. It’s like when they wrote Arthur, they took everything that was likable about John and pasted it onto him. I find that very lazy. John also lacks the witty dialogue and humor his character had in the first. RDR2 doesn’t even give us insight into his deceased daughter and his family life, or the massacre for that matter. It’s all glossed over in favor of writing a new protagonist that’s arguably just a reskinned John with a much more exaggerated accent.

Most people also don't seem to see that John was ahead of every body in terms of seeing what was wrong with the gang and Dutch. The player probably doesn't see it because you're Arthur and are still attached to the gang and John has made some dumb mistakes so people see it as John just being dumb as the other gang members claim him to be. But listening to John talk about it on the replay, it's amazing how right he was about everything. Even before Arthur saw it.

I dunno what you're on about. He acts how I expected him. Someone who has developed to love his family but the gang violence is all he knows so he struggles to get past that and works hard to do so. So by 1911 that's 4 years for him to ease even better into normal society and be calmer because of his family.
"Arthur saved my life." I only ever heard him say that once to Micah and Dutch. I know he talks about Arthur briefly when you meet the past gang members and stranger missions you started as Arthur but that's it. Other than that he only says it once main story and doesnt talk about him outside of that.

I really don't see how it's a big deal that John has to explain to people that were working with Arthur what happened very briefly. Especially when he HAS Arthur's stuff that was being used to help them. Actually sometimes he doesn't even do it. Like in the fisher side quest.

I only donated enough to get all the upgrades, than ignored it. the Greet method costs nothing. Or even the catch and release with fish is a better method. Any money in the stash not used for upgrades will be lost, so it seems like a very inefficient method for honor raising. Heck, even just doing chores would be better.
