I went back before the final mission to finish all the quests, etc. I hadn't done so the mission to get Micah would truly be the end... now, I've noticed since it's right before the mission, when I get on the horse, he says a lot, "ok, girl, one more time." Is this something I've never picked up on before and is always there, or is he saying that because he knows the next mission is the last?

You can essentially fast travel back and fourth via train between two areas, and they CANNOT be in a town. Wallace Station, Riggs Station, and Emerald Ranch are ideal spots. Fast travel to any of those 3 locations, rob ALL the passengers, kill the guards, kill any responding lawmen (lawmen will show up in a few waves, they will stop coming as long as you're not in a town), and blow open every safe on the train and loot whatever you find. Loot dead bodies as much as possible. Then fast travel to another spot and repeat.

But your horse can only carry 3 hats (and one of them will always be Arthur’s default hat) so if you pick up more than 2 in the wild without stowing them in your locker I don’t know what happens

combining Rockstars gameplay design with the more realistic approach they wanted for RDR2 was not the best combo

the over exaggerated realism they decided to implement just made me quit the game after a while

one or the other is fine, since i think despite the issues GTA V, RDR1 and GTA IV are a bit better in terms of control and game stuffs

but adding so much realism, like Sulkii just said, does not mix well with the Rockstar formula

In shady belle I actually ran out of ammo and had to use throwing knifes

was my first intense fight

in RDR 3 bullets were enough to almost kill you
