From pelicans, i've found them in the swamps, search in lagras, lakay, rhodes coast near braithwate manor and near the saint denis railroad tracks that goes through the swamp. Good luck because every animal becomes rare to find once you need one

@red helm From our earlier chat about the buck trinket...
I did a lot of playing around with trying various methods of killing and on different animals. What I observed is that it never raises the quality of the pelt from what the animal was. If it spawned as a 2-star, there's no way you'll get a 3-star. However, if you take a crappy shot on a 3-star and degrade it to 2-star, then you still have a dice-roll chance (~25%ish?) of getting the 3-star pelt.

@red helm looooots of theories about that one online, but that's what I was able to observe repeatedly across all animals... except for small game. The smaller the animal, the more likely it seemed to restore pelt quality.
