Would you recommend going for 100% on your first or second playthrough
I'm at 90% on my first, but all that's left is boring as hell collectibles and challenges which I really can't be bothered with.
Would it be better doing a second run with a better grasp of the game from the get-go and take it much slower than the first time round?

honestly, it really just depends on you.
I love this game so much and want to go for 100% completion my first time so I can experience as much of it as possible. But other people are different than me, and they may not like things like that. I would personally recommend trying for 100% but it's up to you and what you want to do

Who was it that was saying windows is going to remain on top for gaming forever and ever because that's where the gaming devs are at?

Well... for funzies, I took two identical laptops, stuck a 970 Pro in each, and started installing windows on one and ubuntu on the other. The goal was to see how quickly I could go from an empty system in front of me to playing RDR2 on an external 4k display.

The Ubuntu laptop was done downloading/installing system updates, steam, /and/ it was already downloading the game & components approximately 20 minutes before Windows finished the initial install. (that's ignoring weird driver problems on the windows install because it's a razer laptop)

You don't even need the beta version of the steam launcher anymore... just right click rdr2 > compatibility > check the box, that's it.

It still boggles my mind that it became /this/ easy to run this type of game outside of windows. That still seems insane to me... even before considering /better/ performance. :/

I had no significant opinion of Valve until now (since they're behind Proton). I kinda want to give them a hug.

It’s a constantly rising stat unlike honor which can go down and up at any time

It sorta makes sense I guess when it comes to Fame, maybe Jack is seen as some sort of legend, like people believe it’s John Marston still walking after his supposed demise
