from what i know theres two ways to do it, you basically have to chase this horse right after the mission ends and catch it before it despawns

some people go slow and just follow the trail in eagle eye, others immediately chase after it as fast as possible

i tried the slow way and couldnt get it

with base stats the few spotted Appoloosa has 5 stamina, and the white roan Nokota only has 3

so it also depends the level your horses are

the best stamina horses are Missouri Foxtrotter & Arabian though, they blow the Nokota out of the water 🙂

Go around and pick up some gold bars so you can quickly upgrade for the fast travel. The Jack Hall mission is already available for you north of northwest of flatneck station so you can start that treasure hunt for some gold.

You can also pick up the gold bar in Limpany (in the box next to the desk in the Sherrif's station). Jack Hall treasure map 2 is at Cotorra Springs, so while you're there you can get 2 gold bars nearby from the train that fell off the tracks)

And also swing by to the East of Donnor Falls to find the statues puzzle cave, which will give you another 3 gold bars.

So that overall you can get like $4000 (from gold bars: 2x Jack Hall rewards, 3x statue puzzle, 1x Limpany, 2x train wreck)

You'll probably have enough to upgrade for the fast travel
