After doing the legendary grizzly which has its own compendium category, I ran into a random grizzly for first time when it attacked and afterwards when I checked compendium it said 2 grizzlies tracked but only 1 killed... the only bear I tracked was with Hosea. Is it because I didn't kill the legendary grizzly the first time and had to return to track it again?

I read you can kill legendary bear with tomahawk first encounter that bypasses scripted event to allow it?

had a bizarre experience tonight in game. stole a wagon from a guy who started shooting at me after I antagonized him, was gonna go sell it at emerald ranch and there was a quest marker I hit along the way, so I decided to grab the few items in the house for the quest and continue along to emerald ranch, when I get game overed because I "didn't return the items", and it took the wagon from me. naturally, when I returned the items, I was pissed, so I stole the guy's horse. then a bunch of raiders decided to jump me. must have been 8-10 guys, and they killed the horse I stole, so I next went and robbed a ranch, letting out all of the cows and grabbing one to donate to pearson (and I did die once along the way, but it was fine). then, on my way back, I ran into this npc next to the illegal horse buyer who just broke? I stole his horse and sold it right in front of him, and was antagonizing him, but he wouldn't move or respond or do anything, so I put him out of his misery. this game gets bizarre

Theory 1: karen drank herself to death this is the probably most likely theory because as the game progresses, Karen seems to be drinking more and more and what I believe is that she left camp and his drink or something to death there’s no other way to explain it
Theory 2 Karen was abducted by the murfree brothers: so at the end of chapter 6, when Arthur and Charles are going to Beaver Hollow to go to the new camp, Charles tells, Arthur on the way up the hill that there was a wagon full of rich folk that was passing through and they just disappeared without a trace and he begins to talk about how the murfree brothers can make people disappear without a trace as far as I know that wagon was never found one or two things happened either A. Karen got really drunk one night and stumbled far from camp and got abducted by them or B. The kidnapped her in the middle of the night as she was sleeping. My last theory is that she just left camp. like everyone else and went to live her life like a normal person.

spawns are rigged after you start the mission where you need to get them lol.
go along the train tracks (west of the "bayou nwa" specifically) and look in the marshy areas, near the trees. also at bayall edge they spawn commonly! reload if you have no luck.
an egret also sometimes spawns sitting on the little wooden poles along the wooden path, going north of saint denis heading towards canebreak manor.
additionally, an egret sometimes spawns on the edge of the water right next to (east side) trapper's cabin. good luck!

There are tips to make it easier

Switch from controller sticks to just square button (x button on Xbox)
So you don't waste your analog stick

Also some fish are easier from a certain spot, if you're having trouble google about the fish and someone will tell you exactly what part of the bank they tried to get the fish to bite

I had to do that with the one in lake Isabella

Also tire your fish, don't reel in when they're struggling, and keep pulling the left analog every 3s when you're reeling for it to come to you faster

I lost a legendary animal I was carrying on my horse (legendary pronghorn carcass) when I camp traveled to pronghorn farm. I took it to the Trapper in tall trees before but he was attacked by wolves and fled

legendary animal pelts cant be lost so its fine if you never sell it

When I spawned at pronghorn ranch to get to the closest Trapper, my horse was DEAD in the ground and I lost honor. I revived it and the carcass was gone from its back

I went to the Trapper close to pronghorn ranch and he didn't have the pelt
