my issue was thinking that I needed a lures and bait, but these are actually two separate things of which you only ever use one at a time. For legendary fish you need special lures. Then you just throw them in and the legendary fish bite after a while..

you don't track fish. you just equip fishing rod and then the special lure. Then you throw it in the water at the spot of the map. The game tells you where and the correct fish bites after a bit.

I thought I needed to hit the right fish, but that's not really the case I think. Often I had no idea which the legendary fish was, since they all looked the same.. but the fish showed up after me doing the left click flick and pulling it in slowly

Hello everyone, I’m new here, just joined. I had a problem on my first play thru of rdr2, specifically the widow whose husband dies in annesburg, I was doing thr mission as normal, when me and her are going towards her house wolves come for her, when I kill them she runs away saying I am a monster, and I don’t get any mission fail or anything, everything just disappears, the quest, her and I don’t get any mission fail on my screen

You shot the wolves too soon, gotta wait til they start approaching otherwise she'll react

Honestly not sure why that's really a feature added to the game but when I first played and accidentally did that it gave me low Honor when I shot way too soon so I guess you have to wait til they charge like I did the second time

Give her some time, I would just go about your day and let everything die down for a couple of in-game days

Usually to get something to reset you gotta wait 24 to 48 in-game hours , most of the time it's 24

when you have a good hand, go all-in, itll sometimes make the other opponents go all-in too, even if they dont have good cards because they think youre bluffing.

actually if you have the money just go all-in everytime tbf, youll get lucky
