and on that one you can thankfully just keep restarting from the checkpoint until you can beat him up without getting hit

Some unique npcs do follow a schedule you find them at the barn then at the saloon at night and sometimes you find them travelling, Maybe like 2% (or even less) are designed that way, but the rest are most likely generic npcs.

Hey, so looking for some advice on my platinum run.

Currently I am working on finishing the Dinosaur Bone collections for the “Test of Faith” stranger mission. I was collecting the final 8 bones in Epilogue 2 and as I approached the final bone right below Tumbleweed it was not there at all, I double checked and saved and rejoined my story mode save but it won’t show up.

Any suggestions?

Can wild horses spawn again, in the wild?

They respawn. For the special ones with fixed spawn locations (White Arabian at Lake Isabella, etc), they come back to the same spot after about 3 in-game days once you no longer have that horse. Random wild herds will keep spawning too, just not necessarily the exact same horse in the exact same spot.

Having some trouble with the White Bison to the NE, each time I get up there, I am told "too much activity" the only thing I can find is the frozen couple on the ridge, I can't find anything else. What am I missing here.....?

@slow vault That bone is finicky. Most common fix: make sure "A Test of Faith" is actually active in your log (go visit Deborah MacGuinness if you haven't). Some players report bones won't spawn if you collected before officially starting the mission. After activating, save/reload and return. Also double-check you're at the right spot - there are two bones near Tumbleweed (one south of the "L", one north in Gaptooth Ridge).

Thanks for the response, I started the “A Test of Faith” mission with Arthur and got all 22 available with him, and once I finished the Epilogue I went to New Austin and tried to collect the last 8 but the one specifically under the L in Tumbleweed is the one that doesn’t appear. I double checked on my map that all the other 29 were marked on my map which they were. And when I go to the task list it shows that I have 29/30 but when I tab over to see the checklist it says 30 of 30 bones found even though I never inspected or “found” the bone at Tumbleweed.

Is it also problematic that I can’t send any of my bone locations via the post office yet?

because he created an entire sequence of stuff to do a little bit at a time so that you not only saved time by having to retread less ground, but also helps avoid burnout because you're doing a little bit of missions, a little bit of collecting, a little bit of challenges, then a few more missions, etc
