i usually go hunting for a few hours in the morning and get a couple perfect deer, rabbits and turkeys then i sell or donate those and head over to emerald ranch and just steal every wagon i see, usually gets me 100-300 dollars a day

Yeah, next to old cat fish henry is perfect. I got mine pretty quick. A few variants can spawn there. I made a save around the ''A'' of meadows a bit north. Then just go down the main road, hop off the horse, and walk into the forest. I found a panther every single time eating towards the south side of the forest. If you apply scent you might be able to suprise him. If it's the wrong panther, reload the game, and try again. I got it in like 4 tries (the panther suprised me the other 2 times, and it was the wrong one couple of times. It's doable!

It's not letting me move past searching the cabin. Do I have to trade my Lancaster rifle for the double barrelled shotgun? It's my understand the Lancaster was one of the key weapons of game.

As a side note I tried to rob the gunsmith in Rhodes but the game said I must wait until morning. When I went there in the morning the captive wasn't by the window and no matter how many times I pointed my gun at the gunsmith nothing would happen and eventually Arthur would saying he didn't feel like robbing him. After this repeated over and over I tried shooting at the floor to scare the gunsmith but this just caused EVERYONE in the town to come after me and kill me! After my resurrection I returned to gunsmith and this time the robbery proceeded. The game instructed me to "R2 to aim" and when I did I just shot the gunsmith dead! (no I didn't double tap R2) Next I attempted to shoot the chain to free the captive and again the game said "R2 to aim" and this time the captive was shot dead! But I did get to fully loot the store so mission accomplished I guess.

Yes, after my first resurrection I woke up hatless. I met a Mexican whom offered a target shooting competition. AGAIN the game said "R2 to aim" and I fired at target which spooked the Mexican and I had to kill him in self defense. I took his ugly hat. I later found my original hat in storage.

Another question, is there a way to change the type ammo loaded in the gun like better quality shells? If so how?

if you hold or double click r2 it will automatically shoot, it acts as a quick draw. rockstar instructing you to press it is rather stupid, and ive always felt that way... just click it once.

indeed. there is regular, express, high velocity, split point, and in some guns explosive rounds

while hovering over a gun in your weapon wheel, use the d-pad to select left or right

you can purchase high velocity and express, split point must be crafted, and explosive rounds also must be crafted

U can't do L2 inside stores, like for me Xbox I can't do Lb inside stores, or any place I wanna rob, I have to click rb which is r2 to point my gun
