Horse controls can be horse or camera relative. Pick whichever you prefer

But the controls for shooting the wolf and the buttons for turning the horse are completely different so there's no reason you should be accidentally turning the horse

Biggest tip i found out after 1st playthrough is turn off autosave and get in habit of saving manually every 30 minutes of playtime or so. That way when something goes wrong you can just reload last save. I died a lot to stupid things first playthrough. That and dont get obsessed with certain horses like alot do. Just find one you like either by purchasing it, stealing it or wild taming it and stick with it, feed it regular and keep it clean

Plus try to avoid this chat and YouTube first playthough or you will likely get the storyline spoiled by people talking about certain things on here.

Is there anywhere on here to post helpful tips? I gave up on my last game trying to find a robin but I'm doing the whole trapper inventory this time. Got all robins I needed in 15 mins because of one random reddit tip that wanted to put up for other people who might be struggling

It's under the small c of ringneck creek. There is a rock and it cycles between blue jay and robin. I found killing bluejay and picking it up, then waiting a minute whilst looking away and turning back spawned a robin. Rinse and repeat. 5 robins in 15 mins. I spent hours in my last game trying to find one so was just wanting to highlight for folk who might be feeling the pain haha

and go find the photos

and flip them for the info and it will show up on your map

So during the "Money Lending and Other Sins" mission you have to rob people to get their debt payments. In Mr. Wróbels dresser is a tobacco pipe, which Dutch asks for one pretty close to the same time. Why is that not an option to take? You have to go super far and the game acts like it's the only pipe in the whole game 😭

I was playing the mission my last boy and I was using the carcano rifle

Then peytah died and when I pressed retry it skipped me a checkpoint and I went to the part where the natives and the gang were attacking the remaining soldiers behind the factory

And after the mission was completed the carcano rifle disappeared from my inventory and the horses

I had to buy it again

guys, upon running the game it showed a saves conflict error and made me choose between the local and cloud saves. i didnt know which one should i choose but i chose cloud, now all the progress that i made yesterday is now gone, how can i switch to local to see if i can recover that progress?
