uncles is available between midnight and 3 am

and its unlocked right after you rescue jack, which is what youve done

Made an interesting discovery while trying to get Sharpshooter 7

When using high velocity rounds with the Rolling Block Rifle I hit every headshot and the game ignored me and wouldn't count past like 2-3. I made a hypothesis that the bullet penetration was somehow messing with the way the game calculates whether something was a headshot so I switched to regular rounds (which don't penetrate) and everything worked and I got it instantly

I recorded the whole thing because I wanted to like post to Reddit that the challenge was obviously fundamentally broken but apparently it's literally just "don't use high velocity rounds"

if you ride just southwest of horseshoe overlook camp you can find a burned town called limpany, it isn't hard to find. enter the burned sheriff's office and loot the lock box underneath the desk just by the window. there will be a gold bar and a pamphlet, the gold bar can be sold at a fence for $500 but the better use is to hold onto it.

to unlock certain things you will need to make a little bit of story progression, playing until hosea's mission "Exit Pursued by a Bruised Ego" will unlock the stables and that means you can get horses that aren't the Tennesee Walker you have at the start of the game.

once you complete Strauss' mission "Money Lending and Other Sins II" you will unlock the ledger which will let you buy things for your gang. you can donate the gold bar from Limpany to help fund this. then you can upgrade Lodging twice to unlock fast travel.

you should also buy leather working tools for pearson, which will let pearson craft satchels for you. it is worth it to do this, the final upgrade (legend of the east satchel) is a bit of a grind but in my opinion the reward makes the game much more fun by making you basically never run out of inventory space.

it is worth noting that the satchel will basically take you to every corner of the map so if you are interested in the game naturally revealing locations to you instead of exploring the whole thing off the rip you may want to hold off.

After getting back from guarma the pinkertons somehow find the gang when Micah only just got back so there’s very little chance that he had a chance to tell the pinkertons where they are

She somehow doesn’t get killed by Milton in van horn

In rdr1 she doesn’t get hurt the whole game by the pinkertons

That would also explain how they just found beechers hope

She probably told them about Micah and Dutch and then they followed her home to find John
