So your either hitting headshots and fire rate is more important, or you're hitting body shots and the difference between a kill and no kill in one hit needs to be in that sliver of damage difference, which is unlikely. So fire rate is more important. Bolt is the overall better gun.

I don't know what the in-game stat bars says is the difference, but they are misleading across the board.

If you look in the health section with Arthur once he gets TB it says all his cores drain 20% faster

Does it affect John? Does he have extra strong cores with it? Logically I would think it does the same mechanical benefit, but maybe it was designed to not affect him because of the lore description of the trinket. Never seen any confirmation on that.
