There’s this Reddit post where this guy describes directions to where the exact spot is but i suck at directions

“Northwest of lake owanjilla near strawberry. this is the main hunting location for a lot of pelts required for the legend of the east satchel. Take the road right above the lake and follow it as it follows that stream on the west side of the lake. Right where the road splits up from the stream, is where the cougar spawns. This is also a grizzly spawn spot. so snipe the grizzly first from afar. then as you go in that area the cougar will rush you. be ready for it. There is a cougar icon on the map near to where the trapper is, but thats not where the cougar actually spawns.”

This game is addictive. Once you start playing, it is hard to stop. However it is good to have a break from it and come back to it later.
