Go to location and roam around till you get prompt. Look up where the first clue spawns and go there first.
Make sure you're not wanted or in combat or the thing won't spawn. This includes being in combat with animals. I know there're a lotta alligators in that area so don't engage them
If you are on top of it but still not spawning you need to wait in game days. Sleep max and save and reload then sleep max again

Hey guys, can anyone give me a kind of comparison between rdr1 and rdr2, played through rdr2 twice but held off on buying 1 because im not sure how much of a downgrade it is in terms of mechanics and playability. I tried playing fallout new Vegas recently after playing fo4 for ages and the bugs are unbearable. Is it the same from rdr2-rdr1 or is rdr1 more functional

And is it worth the price of £20 today

rdr1 is pretty different to rdr2 control wise, i dont think thats a bad thing though. i love the combat in rdr1 but prefer the overall controls in rdr2. im sure there are bugs in the game obviously but there are bugs in eveyr game and ive yet to run into any on my own. my issues with the game aret ehg ame ITSELF not the playability or mechanics.

i got it for £40 but £20 is a good deal if you like rdr as a franchise

or if you have an old console lying around (ps3 etc) u can get it for like £5-8

there are things called trinkets you can get, also beating challenges helped for me. when u complete a certaion number of challenges you can unlock gear at the trapper which increases ur deadeye/health/stamina

Do the bugs affect your ability to play the game normally? I straight up can’t even open new vegas to play, I don’t mind trivial bugs but ones that affect the game a ton are a deal breaker for me

ive never gotten a bug in rdr1 yet personally :) not to say they dont exist but ive had smooth sailing- i got the game on steam . its a pretty clean game for its age honestly!!

i wouldnt be afraid, and if it is an issue , you may have time to refund it :)

nor have i heard anyone else talk about game breaking bugs either

The game breaking bugs came at around 10h into my nv playthrough so I’m a bit wary, it’s good that you’ve described it as clean for its age

oh thats interesting..it might just be the case of just grinding and killing since i managed to get to level 10 with those. check your deadeye log just in case
