The only other way you could’ve somehow had a difference in the speed of your food bait being reeled in is if you had changed your reeling mechanic from rotating the right stick to holding down a button in the game’s settings

WTF is with beavers? I am doing bow hunting only no guns. 2 star beavers shooting them in the back isnt degrading their pelt. But 3 star beaver perfect headshot (with deadeye, and when I walked up to the carcass the arrow was clear through the head from one side to the other) is degrading the pelt. Knife headshot also degrading the pelt. Small game arrow headshot doesnt kill…

Its stupid game mechanics tbh. Yes a body shot with anything will spoil a perfect pelt. But an arrow clean through a beaver’s head isnt going to damage the pelt. Nor is a revolver or pistol or rifle tbh…

Spent hours trying to hunt those assholes with a bow. theyre very wily and do things like act like they dont know you are there then suddenly slip into the water, kinda wasting your time on purpose. Or they will walk slowly to the water knowing you are there and only speed up if you are drawing your bow. Theyre unlike any of the other prey animals

Theyve pretty much coded it so only .22 ammo to the head will be a clean kill. Unrealistic.

I thought that too till I discovered you can influence your horses bravery. Purposefully slowly walk it up to a single gator for example. Every time it tries to run calm it and make it face the gator again. Slowly take it closer and closer. Then shotgun kill the gator. It learns to trust you to protect it and that you WANT it to not scare from predators. I have seen marked change in my horses using this training. However, you need to do it separately in its own way for gunfights too. It doesnt carry over.

And btw, as someone who owned and rode a horse for a few years when I was a teen, this is how you would train them IRL too.

Give it a peppermint or sugar cube when it does the gator thing.

Hey chat I'm currently in chapter 4 and I did the mission where Tilly gets abducted by her old game. I rode the Leopard Appaloosa which the mission gives you by default. I went back to camp with that horse after the mission was over, so I dismounted and I just wanted be a lil goober and take off my main horse's saddle. I put it down and it just friggin disappeared. Like glitched or something.

So I came back to my maine horse and he's just gone, so I went back to the saddle and it's there finally, but when I came back to put it on him, he was gone still

So after a few confusing minutes I went back and forth of my horse coming back and then the saddle disappearing

So i wasnt aware that rdr2 actually takes place in 1899. For that era the pistols are definitely more realistic for a serious outlaw. Rather than like a habitual drunk lone outlaw who carries a revolver because he always gets into a fight.

For rping old west, yes. For actual behavior and stats, no. Its slow inaccurate and weak compared to the others from what I have heard. Performance is the ‘worst’ of all revolvers.

so the game uses blue to represent high honor and red to represent low honor

i guess arthur starting the game with several pieces of blue clothing indicates that he is ultimately a good man

hosea wears blue and dutch wears red

itd be cool if arthur started with a more neutral color scheme but i guess since he gets redeemed in the end no matter what it makes sense

That's easy. Either camp, sleep and go to trapper and he should automatically have it (Sleep till the beaver body despawns which is like 3+ days)

Or just reload a save and kill the beaver again

Problem is that it happened on ch2 and im on ch 6 now, tryna 100% as best as i can lol. until now i haven't done that, dont wanna redo all ove rlol

Wait so you lost the pelt in ch2. It was marked killed in your map but your trapped doesn't have it still?

That's a GG. I would try once again by goinig to the area and see if it spawns

but if it doesn't you're not 100% ing the game on this save

oh no you can't

i haven't tried getting a gang members horse through the glitch yet but it probably works

it's best done on chapter 3 when dutch isn't too far away from the camp borders

whenever i set my model to mp_female using rampage trainer all of the story quests disappear

and they dont reappear when i turn back to arthur

i have to reopen the game to get them to reappear is there a known fix for this?

just wanna delay the game as much as possible by not visiting downes or rescuing the rat lol. But other than that its pretty easy as long as yk what ur doing

3. ⁠Trigger a shopkeeper update:
   ⁠1. ⁠Leave the Legendary Animal area
   ⁠2. ⁠Perform a manual save
   ⁠3. ⁠Reboot your console
   ⁠4. ⁠Reload your game
   ⁠5. ⁠Speak to the Trapper
4. ⁠Keep playing the game by doing Missions, other legendary Animals, side missions etc.
