Getting new satchels is an upgrade. As long as you have the satchels it doesn't matter which one you're using because you'll still get the benefits of the other ones

Legend of the east satchel is the best one because you can hold 99 of pretty much anything

Other satchels increase for specific stuff, like tonics, provisions, etc
