there are four endings in total i believe. at the end theres a choice with john, and thats half of what decides which ending you get. honor is the other half

so theres the “true” ending (high honor, and to keep it spoiler free “go with him”), high honor/dont, then low honor/go with him and low honor/dont

so the high honor/help option is the most impactful in my opinion and is implied (i believe! might be wrong) to be canon. it brings the story to a very emotional but satisfying end

my wife and i have only done two endings (high/help and low/dont) and the low honor one felt empty and unsatisfying to me

i personally don’t want to spoil the endings fully, but if you want to know you can google them or i can dm you

lake isabella, specifically on the leftmost side in the snow. walk VERY slowly, dont ride your horse, as you enter the area. shes extremely skittish and runs easily. shes hard to see because shes white on white, and blends into the snow very easy. sneaking, stamina recovery+fortification items, and lassos are your best friend

if you go to saint denis and wander around from 12am to 5am, sometimes youll hear a woman and man being robbed. watch your captions, stop immediately if you see something about fine china (like the dishes)
the black arabian (always female in this encounter iirc) will be somewhere near the couple, but she DOESNT show up in eagle eye. itll be dark and shes a black horse so its hard to see
if you wait for the woman to get shot, the man will pick up her body and start walking in the direction of horse, so you can run in front of him, find it first, then grab it and RUN out of st denis bc cops will be all over you

it doesn’t always happen. but its a proximity based event so walking back and forth may respawn it sometimes
i suggest saving before 12 am hits because sometimes you need to reload, the event isnt guaranteed

After that i started seeing him everywhere i go

Id be fishing and hed be on the other side of the river just standing there

Id be hunting deer and hed somehow be in a pack of horses

And now i am in the trelawny mission and the horse in the mission is you guessed it

I had maxed out honor when Arthur died but his grave has the low honor variant. I am going for the 100%. Visited the grave (witch was still high honor) but accidentally didn’t save my progress.

When i returned to the grave it was the low honor variant. Ive tried replaying the mission and reloading saves but nothing helps.

Is there any way to turn it back to high honor or am i just screwed.
