Anyone here ever visit r/patientgamers? That's what I do with all Triple A game. I'm on Mac, too. So it's only been recently that I've been able to consistently play RDR2.

Since then, the yellow "tracking clues" aren't appearing. I saw an advice online about sleeping several days and coming back. Is that true? I only could sleep a consecutive 48 hours. I didn't know R* got that massive realism by not letting you sleep too many times consecutively.
Anyone had an experience of getting the legendary animal hunt continue after losing the track for whatever reason?

I got robbed about $1000 today. So I tired robbing the train for the first time today.
You can get away with it scott free if you take a train to Annesburg and stay on it until it moves again. The 3rd tunnel it takes is a long one, enough to have the whole train in it. If you do that, you can have a clean heist.
But I only got about $150 from the straight cash and maybe about another $90 from stolen goods.

It's kind of blowing my mind that RDR2 will be 8 years old by October next year. It doesn't feel like it's been that long and it still looks substantially better than many games releasing now. The fact that it was released and playable on PS4 and Xbox one without much of a noticeable sacrifice in visuals is nothing short of a miracle.
Even it's PC requirements are extremely minimal compared to what's releasing now tbh
Rockstar's animation, attention to detail, and graphical realism combined with art direction is something even more technically demanding games fail to match and I can't quite put a finger on why. They do "good graphics" in a completely different way that doesn't sacrifice visual identity

You can also find wild carrots or berries in the wild, but it's easier to buy things at the stable or fresh food at the general store!
As for arthur, the internet says the easiest way is to deplete the cores and eat snacks so you hear the little 'ding' which registers as weight gain. They also say you can drink gin to make your dead eye core red or run until you're out of stamina. I can say if this actually works as I've never tried it but Reddit has yet to steer me wrong

As soon as you die next time, once past the sky screen, instantly pause and load autosave. You should respawn with all of your pelts.

Gambler 9 is actually relatively easy, you can do it easily without doing the boat heist in chapter 4 by just replaying the mission where you save reverend from a train
