yep, you can leave the carcass. some smaller legendary animals' carcasses can be put on your horse, but you can only sell them to a butcher, or pearson. if you have them unlocked, bring the legendary items you get from skinning the boar and sell them to a fence, and then sell the boar skin to a trapper to make clothes

As someone else mentioned, the trapper has it. So any peice of clothing you could craft with that skin now you can do it by going to the trapper. If someone loses legendary animal pelts the game automatically transfers them to the trapper as they are only 1 spawn and you can never get them again. @thorny lantern

Hello, everyone! I'm brand new to the server. I just started playing RDR2 for the first time in the last few months.
Some parts of the single player game have already been spoiled for me, as reading around on the internet looking for help with things can do that to you by mistake. I already know too much about my own destiny, but I don't want to discuss future story stuff too much, as I want to not have the entire thing spoiled for me on my first playthrough.

I have one big question right now. This is my first playthrough, and I am in Chapter 3. I'm wondering if it's too late to work on things like the sachels, trinkets, legendary hunts, bounties, etc. Someone online said that past Chapter 2 certain things may become impossible but didn't specific what. There are also those saying that they save certain things for "after you get to the epilogue."

I am also simply tempted to focus the story and finish it for the first time. I don't know what to do. 🤷 🤣

Nope you can work on the stuff in chapter 3.. just remember that after banking the old American art.. it’s the point of NO RETURN.. so do what you have to do before that mission
