And the best thing is too explore some parts
of the map that you didn't explore.
Places like north east of the map or south
west of the map near strawberry, or at snows
or revisting gurama and the out of the map
mexico part with some official ways ,the southwest of

Visit these places as the story didn't focus
enough on it.

Im not sure of the actual mechanics of it, but ive had both max weight and minimum weight playthroughs so i can describe it based on those / my understanding.

they typically gain weight when you have them constantly drink / consume sweets, eat three meals a day (my method was 2 things of meat OR one meal from any saloon), eat snacks between meals, etc.

got down to minimum weight by only letting them eat when i needed to heal them 🤷‍♂️

aside from the game telling you that you're over, average, or underweight, it's also pretty visible especially when you bathe. for arthur specifically (im not sure about john, only finished the american venom before starting a new playthrough but im assuming it works the same) you can see the difference in his arm size. overweight = arms are thicker and bulkier, average is average physique lol, and underweight his arms will practically be skin and bone with minimal muscle (his shoulders are disproportionate to his bicep size basically). if he's overweight, he'll have a visible stomach and chin.

being overweight negatively affects your stamina drain rate (can't run as long or fast, you can also hear arthur get winded far easier) but will make it easier for you to win hand-on-hand combat (he's stronger and can knock out opponents far easier). average is average for both. being underweight makes your health core drain quicker while making you run faster, but your strength is negatively affected, and you'll have a harder time knocking out NPCs.

Only if they start it and you just disarm them, any other time, you get wanted for assault, murder, or disturbing the peace

You have the bounty because of the blackwater ferry job (happened pre chapter 1, which is why they were in the mountains—they were on the run). You cant pay it off.

the best way to get to javier is to cross the river then just make a straight beeline through the field after the lawmen are clear

Yeah they'll be gone mate, just wait it out. I just keep my bounty at max all the time to farm loot from the bounty hunters. Also pro tip you can spend all your money and surrender to a law officer to get your bounty cleared, since you have no money you basically get your bounty cleared for free

stealing horses and coaches is kinda easy, coaches give you more money if sold to a fence then stealing and selling the horses to the horse fence, the fun way to earn money is looking up locations to get gold bars or the statue puzzle.

Well you should have done it before the red dead redemption mission

But here is the way

In your next play through don't do the side mission with that creepy couple in the pig farm.
Before you wanna do the last mission of arthur you should go to this pig farm and do the mission.
They invite you to the meal and you should accept and eat it.
After that arthur will be spawned in a different location because the food had things in it.
And you would realize that your money is gone because that couple stole it.
Now Arthur's money is in the back of a painting in that house.
This house would keep the money for us.
After we entered the epilog as John return to that house and take the money from the back of the painting

It's always like this and it is normal.
You should make you honor higher a few times so it moves at the honor state.
It is this way for the low honor thing too .
For example you are greeting people and after you greet 4 of them you get . after you got for a few times it will move in the honor state bar.

I have done it and it is really amazing. That mexico part has great landscapes and rocks which weren't supposed to be in game.
