Searching online it says I need to have completed Polite Societ, Valentime Style & Paying a Social Call. I have finished both of these missions. you can do anything you want. I personally really enjoyed upgrading the camp. It extended the game for me. However, its not necessary. It does increase camp morale. Otherwise, Just go to marked places on the map. There are main missions and secondary missions that arent really part of the main story. : ) Its the best game ive ever played personally. However, i like hunting, fishing, upgrading the game. Some things people would call boring lol.

Next day I loaded that savegame and my John Marston was sitting on a Horse named "Rachel". I never had a horse like that.
So I went to the Blackwater stable to get one of my known horses....and they were all gone. My Buell was gone, the wild Mustang (grey with a darker stripe along its back) and the white shire I rescued from an abandoned carriage (people of the carriage were killed by Skinners and I removed the collars and straps to free the two horses that were still pulling the wagon)

I was really miffed.
I mean sure, I can spawn in another Buell with Rampage Trainer, but now I have to train that one again.
