if it's a unique horse (like white Arabian,red Chestnut Arabian etc...) it'll spawn back at the location you first found him after I think 3 in-game days.
If it's a stable horse then he will respawn in the stable after a certain period of time and you'll be able to buy it again.

i killed a deer and dropped it in an open area in new hanover, walked a bit away and crouched with my tomahawk. some scavenging birds should land at the carcass after a minute or two, so you can approach them and get the kill :) i sorta ran back and forth after each kill for more to land. hope that helps!

let's hope. icl I'd love to see rdr3 being from how Dutch made the Dutch van der lin gang but the time being set just before the events of rdr2. like it ends at the Blackwater job. how much did exotics take for y'all? cause it took me about 5 hours and it was one of the easiest side missions in the game, it's just time consuming.You just need to save and reload for the plumes. Didn't expect to be that easy.The funny thing is that I didn't even want to do that side quest but I was at 99% and I only needed that for 100% so I gave it a shot today and yeah as I said really easy.What do y'all think the hardest thing for 100% is? I'd say hunting requests mainly cause you have to hunt a lot of animals and getting three stars can be really annoying.challenges are kinda difficult too but they become really easy when you follow some guides,I've done them easily in two playthroughs.

and for the exact location... well NW of owanjila near the trapper is the best spot just ride up and down the road and you should find the cougar attacking you. Be careful!
