it has its uses to get perfect pelts from specific animals

for hunting perfect pelts you need 1. bow 2. varmint 3. repeater 4. rifle

after you study an animal for the first time (it gets added to your compendium and you find out what animal it is) you can "show info" if you're looking at it from close enough or through binoculars and the tooltip tells you which weapon/ammo to use to get a perfect pelt ("clean kill")

• to ensure a perfect pelt you have to kill the animal in one hit and hit a vital area (brain, heart), those spots are visible in dead eye

I don't know about you but I find making money in the game insanely easy, was even the first time I played
if you don't do stupid stuff which puts a bounty on your head you ought to have several thousand dollars by the time you can buy that horse
while the arabian is indeed the best horse in the game by stats, it won't help you if you don't know how to make the most out of those stats
and like, you can go through the game without changing the starting horse, easily and comfortably

Yeah I got a huge bounty I think when I rescued Micah it was like $500 or something. But everything for the camp is insanely expensive.
$340 for a small boat is ridiculous considering what money was worth back then.
That would be Luke several hundred thousand today. It's ridiculous.

Hey so I just completed the starting quest where ya buy a new horse (I was putting it off because I didnt want to go hunting) and after finishing it, my original horse is gone. I went through the prologue I guess ( jail boost / then train robbery and some other stuff) now I'm in a camp and it feels like I've been turned loose to free roam (in Story as Author) but not sure. the online thing is kinda wack atm
