I just found a neat detail but I'm not sure if it's entirely new, however i haven't seen it anywhere.

In Saint Denis, a clock tower will ring the bell correctly to the current time. If it's for example 11 AM, it will ring 11 times.
But here's something even more interesting, if it's 11:15 AM, the bell will ring 11 times + 1 higher pitched bell will also ring.

That is realistic in many towns, as they ring count of bells due to time, while smaller ring represents 15 minutes of each hour.

Edit: Higher pitch in-game aswell in-real only represented full hour. Higher pitch is used when there's for example said 11:15 AM as 11 rings but lower pitch is used for each quarter of hour so it's easily distinguished as for different sounds.

hi all, that is my first time here, with hopes find someone knowledgeable that could give me some directions.. After 4 years gathering resources, was finally able to get the hardware to play rdr2 in vr. Expectations were over the roof, but unfortunately and for my surprise, downgrading rdr2 to the version required by the mod lead me to get this error Social Club Failed to initialize err 16, that seems to be quite popular and probably solved with having files up-to-date, but, that dont work with the vr mod. I am so frustrated, I m already over 20 hours looking for a solution and will probably sleep in the couch today (wife s mad haha) but she doesnt understand for how long I was waiting to play this in VR. Any of you know something that could help? Even indicating me another discord server if there is any for VR, I havent find any myself. Sorry to bother. Appreciate any help. Last, hope I am not infringing any rules of the server, just thought it would be ok posting here as this vr mod is single player. thx a lot.

Thx for the reply. Yes, social club apparently has a tolerance for how old our files are. I just noticed that by trying one by one of the versions. Fortunately for me, minutes ago I found one versios that is partially working in both the mod and with social club, which brings hope.. I ll keep trying the other versions.. 1. I lost my hat when I was killed by other gang members, respawned without my hat, where I can get it back?
2. how do I see how much honour do I have?
3. am very confused to what missions are main story line missions and what are side quests?
4. which role should I take?

2. youre on pc, so im not entirely sure how to pop up the honour bar, but whatever button expands your mini map will show you
3. side quests are marked as white. main story mission are yellow
4. if youre talking about online roles, once you manage to get enough gold bars, start bounty hunting asap

If ur over weight set up a camp and rest there and dont eat and wait for ur 3 bars to fill (health, stamina, deadeye) till u loss weight more info is in options into player click on arthur profile then its all there wut kind of weight u r, if under weight eat more if ur 3 bars r near empty, on the long run its hard to manage with everythin else thats goin on, also make sure u got plenty of food in ur wheel by holdin L1 then R1 to change the tab, 90° turn on the left stick R2/L2 to check alternative is holdin right on D pad to get ur sachet out, then the knife n fork think u hit R1 or L1 to change tabs, this also go for ur horse just more complicated, if u want more help just dm me 🙂

if you have +3 damage taken that means Arthur is underweight, eat more food to gain weight. Saloon meals, pearson's stew and game meat are good ways to gain weight.

oh and also dont forget to feed your horse frequently because it can also lose weight.

Nothing was super hard, it was just time consuming. I think getting gold medals may have been the hardest though because some missions did bug out.

treasure hunts are a great way to make money, u can search them up in youtube, these ussually reward you with gold bars which sell for 500$ each.

well you haven't really finished the main story game if you dont finish the epilogue

but up to you ig, some few people just dont play it anyways

if you want to play the first game right after or you played the first RDR just before starting RDR2 then you shouldnt really bother with the epilogue

it does some things that contradict the events of the first game

however if youve never played the first RDR then you should complete the epilogue to complete RDR2 then after a while start with RDR if you ever plan on doing so

I've already done this mission and i found that guy outside the Valentine gunsmith shop where he was offering any free gun from the store.
So as i spoke to him i've gone to the shop to check and i saw almost unlocked weapon and accessories were free but i didn't purchased any yet wanted to unlocked some more premium weapons and grab it free, but later I've gone in the shop again to check something else but the free offer was gone already. You need to check bulletin boards at train stations. You need to have started chapter 2 to start, but getting the final dead eye upgrade in chapter 6 makes it so much easier. Basically you can finish as early as chapter 2. I got mine from the Valentine station.

I am new red dead player (played a little bit a while back at red dead 1), and decided to start with red dead 2

Am currently at chapter 2 (21%), and overall progression at 41%
I made every upgrades possible in the horseshoe camp and :

• Found an item for Jack, Dutch, Mary-Beth and Susan ;

But i got 3 strange dialogues with Dutch, two of these are easily found by googling them (betrayal, and money donation)
However :

• With everything i made for the camp, these 2 are a bit oddish (because i bring back items for people, i save some of these people, and if i check to the register, i left about 500$, and there was 321$ left) ?
  Then arrives the 3rd strange dialogue, impossible to find :
• Dutch was reading a book, i looked casually to him, then he starts to get angry yelling to me why do i always spy him or i don't remember the non sense

But his speed seems not good at all...

The heck i didn't know that when in your inventory tab you have crafting materials, and valuable object, the valuable objects, could be crafting materials for legendary beast for real

In every houses i could rob, i found many golden jewelry, or even silver things, but not the "silver chain bracelet"

However if you don't hold the button to print your hud briefly (honor/hp etc...), you will see the hours as well

If you go into your "kit" in your wheel, you just scroll till you get it and release and you should go into first person and be holding whatever pocket watch you selected.

If you go to Watsons Cabin (West of Wallace Station) if you haven't already got it from there, it's where the old lady is and you can steal the gun from the basement. Anyways, I believe every 24 hours it'll respawn in the jewelry box by the bed. I could be wrong, and if so I have heard you can get them from train robberies but I've never seen it myself, as it's a rarer item. If you can get them from robberies, you'll either find it within a few or 30+, I don't think there's any in between.

So i have a question regarding wanted level and such.

I was in the first town, talking to a person in front of the doctors' shop. Everything seemed fine until i walked away from the guy which then seemed to trigger him and decided to try and clap my cheeks. The doctor decided to come out and start shooting him and then me. He killed the guy, and then I got a 70$(i literally have 40$ so i cant even pay it down) bounty wanted level with quite literally half of the town shooting at me(mind you, i have not attacked ANYBODY yet nor did i antagonize, i literally just blocked a hit after i got hit once)

Was this a bug, or wtf just happened? Like i didnt even have the option to surrender or anything
