Emerald Ranch train station game. Now, this is purely luck, so you're going to be miserable, but there's some good tips. After each win, stand up before playing the next game and save. If you lose the next game, you can reload and the progress is kept. Also, don't forget it isn't round based, it's first to 60 to win. If an opponent reaches 30 before you, I'd recommend reloading as the chance of that comeback is slim. I'd also highly recommend making it so there's only one person there rather than two people, as that will make it so much easier. To do this, just go a bit out of town and keep sleeping until they reset (you'll have to keep checking if they reset).

I'm on the professor mission and apparently it's bugged like completely. I went to the train guy in Rhodes for the moonshine info. But then the spot where he is kept the mission blip(or what it's called) on the map. Now I've played so far that I've brought the professor the person that is going to be executed but the next mission didn't load. The thing at Rhodes was still there so I went there and now it's told me to open the letter that says where I need to rob the moonshine wagon but I don't have the letter anymore because I've already done it. Do a second play through and 100% that one. I tried doing low honor the second time through, but couldn’t follow through and ended back up on the redemption path. But I’ll bet you’ll find a whole lot you missed out on in the earlier parts of the story.

You could have shot her too, it still would have reset

Either way you can do most of them as John if they don't reset in diffrrent chapters or after missions

Both happen, and John is the final resort. His events will constantly respawn daily if failed. You can do the same overworld event ten times and fuck it up, it will still respawn as John the next day. Arthur requires a reset from a save load or the reload of the world on a mission exit.

Herbalist is the dude who gives you a location of Ginseg, Burdock Root, Bulrush, Indian Tobacco and Yarrow for your compendium without looking for it. I believe he even spawns in as John if you missed one. Thats it. He was for overworked women who like cinematic gayemez, overworked people without time and gaming noobs to show them where to get the most important herbs early on. It's irrelevant.

Similar result to normal endings but Arthur doesn’t die because they actually kill Micah successfully, but they have to retire due to their disease, resulting in the character you play as still changing like in the other endings. But you know Arthur isn’t dead. :)

so I don't know if this is an xbox thing or a rdr2 thing but.....when in rdr2 on the xbox one s you can press and hold the xbox button and it will sleep, then when you start the game again you will resume exactly where you left off in the game, but sometimes you come back and rdr2 goes through the whole boot sequence then eventually loads from your last save position, its not the end of the world, just trying to figure out why it does that.

Hey fellow rdr2 fans, in late to the game and playing thru for the first time. I don't know anyone who plays and I have some dumb questions.

I'm in chapter 6. I've hit most spoilers and am aware of Arthurs arc. There's so much to do but the story line is so good that I don't spend a ton of time fun things like hunting and fishing or robbing trains and stagecoach (trying to do high honor).

One question I have is will there be a point where it's good to stop doing story line and do the other stuff previously mentioned or is it more of the goal to do that as John although you start over fresh I hear.

And will I lose my talismans?

you keep the talismans/trinkets, weapons, clothing, saddles, basically all of the key items. things like provisions and tonics are lost, and for some reason valuables (at least mine vanished). and of course whatever money arthur had is also lost but theres a way to transfer arthurs money to john

a handful of stranger missions are tied to arthur alone, such as helping charlotte (if you dont help her as arthur, she dies)

I mean, you can survive 6 bullets depending where they hit. You just need to fix where you're aiming and probably clean your gun so it does proper damage first of all.

Been playing since release its a known bug and i now understand the bug. The game thinks that you have all custom slots filled when in reality you dont have any, be careful when pressing delete on custom outfits as the game might think they are still there. The only way to fix this is by getting after chapter six

it's the best shot he's ever made in both games, just that there isn't much competition because Dutch usually isn't the one doing the big shows of gunplay

some npcs will try to flank you on the side you're not shooting them from but thankfully rockstar forbids all npcs in story from landing headshots and you got a minimap that shows every hostile npc near you
