Arthur, Micah, and Dutch himself who was really the only target were all in the same place and they'd have to try and fight them at the same time along with the other gang members, who aren't as good but could still be some problems
if enough pinkertons were brought they'd win eventually but i think Milton didn't want to throw away a good amount of his men's lives to capture Dutch when there could be better opportunities if they kept tracking him

Milton was kinda honorable in that sense, but they were backed by Cornwall who is basically the Cornelius Vanderbilt of the Red Dead universe and they had plenty of men in the area, in “A honest mistake” they are able to put around 50 armed guards to one single coach
I’m sure they had plenty more reserves, I mean they throw tons of men at Dutch and Arthur when they massacre Valentine, though a lot of those could’ve been normal citizens and local law

They knew where they were in Valentine, then in Rhodes the Grays had them figured out from the start so they probably alerted the Pinkertons. Then obviously after Guarma, the next camp gets raided almost immediately. So I think they knew where they were the entire time really and just chose when to strike. Or at the very least, they knew where they were from Shady Belle onwards. They knew about Horseshoe, but it’s possible they didn’t know about Clemens Point

You either have to start a new save, or reload way back. It's a pain to get 100%, trust me. Everything has short windows to finish.
I believe because most of the gang wasn't as wanted. Sure, they were teamed up with some of the most wanted men, but that wouldn't give the Pinketons power to kill them at that time. At least, it would have looked bad. As they started doing more heists though, those less wanted members gave the Pinkertons the power to do full blown sieges. I think Milton originally also wanted to do it peacefully, or manipulate the gang into betraying one another.

I always found it weird how Micah was different than every other enemy in the game. Every “boss” encounter (there aren’t really any other “bosses” but like important characters) is just like a regular human and if you shoot them in the head they die. I literally had to dead eye a full clip directly into his face to kill him

Best bet to find a boat is go behind Clemens Point and ride along the beach until you see someone and then ride your horse into the water and jump on their boat and steal it. Horses are basically boats anyway btw

Double action used to be my go to but I switched to Schofield. I noticed though, early on the game tries to FORCE you to use the Cattleman for some reason. Every single time I sit on my horse it switches off the Schofield
