unfortunately the lancaster is not fit for hunting all perfect animals the same way the Bolt Action and the Rolling Block are

And the rolling block also makes it easier to hit those very far away shots

very likely gonna want it if not need it for a challenge too, forgot what it was exactly but it required getting a kill on someone at a very far distance that something like the lancaster probably wouldn't hit, and if it did, probably wouldn't kill

If you want to, just carry both your precious lancaster and a rolling block/carcano at the same time, since you cant put the long scope on any repeater and you might just run into the opportunity where you'd like to kill someone far off very easily

I think that’s just a feature of the game and there’s no real way to switch it off, it happens to me pretty often but usually if you go back to your horse you can switch back to what you want

The game will probably make a dent in your honor after 2 or 3 train robberies, but Bandi challenge requires you to do 5 I think 😄
