It almost seems like going back for the money is the canon ending because the first place Charles would check for Arthur is back at camp, plus the scar on micahs face seems like that would be canon. How is he not going to have some kind of scar from fighting Arthur? But on the flip side helping John seems more canon because itās the more honorable thing to do. Plus Arthur dies the way he wanted, watching the sun. As for how Charles found him? He tracked Arthurās horse from beaver hollow and when it stopped at the bottom of the mountain thatās when he went up and found him

How do you guys approach hunting in rdr2? I find myself finding a 3 star animal in the world, shooting it and then don't know what to do with it. Selling it to the butcher feels pointless, giving it to my camp for food is good but doesn't feel rewarding, and in most cases I can't trade the animal parts or upgrades as the trapper isn't looking for it.

perfect pelts, depending on the animal, can be given to pearson so you can upgrade your satchel and have more room for stuff etc. you can also upgrade your lodging and your camps lodging. outside of that, selling perfect pelts to the trapper, not the butcher, helps you get outfits and reinforced equipment if you care about that. if nothing else itās a fun mini game that you can get rly good at, but first thing i do is hunt all the animals i need for the satchel upgrades
