Horseman challenges include racing from one town to another, some of them you have to do without touching water, getting cut off by bounty hunters mid race would be annoying

i need some help with rdr in the epilogue (modded). i just beat the game and im starting the epilogue but i keep getting stuck with this 1 bug. whenever it comes to the part in the mission when you have to clean the bar, any thing try to pick up with the pitchfork completely breaks my game. all john does is stand there and do idle animations. my keyboard seems to stop working as i cant hit esc and close the game and when i try to bring up rampage trainer the menu comes up but than i cant do anything with it. basically the controls of the game completely stop working and it makes the game unplayable. any way to fix?
