Nah, actually all foods have a Calorie count, and you need to get X amount, then cause the game to do a Cutscene(Sleep, Fast Travel, Etc), before it will "refresh" Arthurs model and calculate if you gained/lost weight.

The bonuses from other satchels actually stacks so you can benefit from crafting them all. The actual satchels themselves are simply re-skins for Arthur's satchels, so it doesn't really matter which you choose to display.

i'm doing the mission in chapter 2 of kieran and i have a moment when i need to clean the double cannon but i can't
so i can't finish the mission

imagine an alternate ending
you manage to accumulate 150k cash somehow, and then everyone attempts to pay off their bounties but the lawmen refuse, knowing it's likely all stolen money. a massive shootout ensues and the gang is overwhelmed and gets pushed back into the mountains. many members are captured and you must complete missions to save them from their hangings, with massive shootouts erupting in some missions and in the others its stealth-based. eventually most members survive, but some lay dead.
the whole micah bell gang split up happens again but this time its in the mountains. the gang tries to get a footing again and hits some money but immediately the pinkertons come crashing down and its a final shootout with arthur dying from pneumonia this time. everything after is at least somewhat normal.

Also you probably shouldn't neglect the crafting at the Trapper/Pearson as it can be fun to solve the problems that arise from hunting but also the actual crafted items can be very nice to have if you care about that kinda stuff.
Honestly take your time through the world, if you see something strange in the distance go check it out, if some guy needs help go help them. This world is so beautiful and wondrous and you are the only person who can experience it through your own eyes your adventure will be unique, one of a kind it would be silly not to make the most of it

Somtimes they just run away when you stop the train 😭 one of the only oversights in game design in story mode
