I have essentially 2 playthroughs, my og with 100% completion and later when I restarted fresh. both playthroughs have multiple save points, I loaded my original 100% completion one and started doing the remaining gold medals there, but so far it didn't go up

they should ofc be able to get through multiple saves right? I bet everyone has more than just 1 save anyway...

could it be I just had those specific 2 gold medals on the 2nd playthrough save already, perhaps...?

@burnt acorn alright... apparently if you start new playthrough it resets and you have to complete all those medals on a save from the most recent playthrough. I did not have gold from the 2 missions on the other save, but I completed one of them there and it went from 14% to 15% now

don't have everything maxed on this playthrough like the og, but at least I can replay some easier missions for it now. some of these challenges are just pure stupidity, like complete without taking a single hit, and if you fail you have to replay the entire mission, even if shootout only happens at the end of the mission... pure rng to not take a single hit. at least the early missions where you don't even have deadeye

got the free series x upgrade of rdr1 and I guess it's still a decent game, but it's hard to appreciate it fully after rdr2. graphics are lightyears back and just overall feels clumsy and underdeveloped compared to rdr2... I mean it is a decade older game after all
