1 - backwards compatibility, you can play most former console games with no issues with disc and they offer them on the store as well
2 - quick resume, you dont have to restart a game everytime you want to play it or switch to a different game, it just immedently puts you back on the pause screen wherever you left off
3 - cloud gaming
4 - microsoft rewards

I always recommend getting the disc for xbox since most 360 or original games are cheaper on disc anyways
