Okay, so in my experiment this week with the silly 13 Sats I get from ZBD. I decided not to play the big boss monsters that bring the Sats and let the timer run out to 0 Sats. Then claim the silly 13 Sats for the day and bring my collected balance down from 400 Sats by 13 Sats each day. I managed to get down to about 350 Sats balance and then the daily Sats I was getting went from 13 to 23. This lasted 2 days and then yesterday went back to 13 Sats. Let's see how today goes.

Nope, 23 is the limit for the day. WAY better than 13. WOOT!!! AND I also received another piece of the journal. Most excellent. Today was a good MergeMonsters day!

What I find interesting is that for a time, before I used the portal again and the game was getting harder, I even went under 350, started getting the random sats dotted around again, and my daily limit was still 13!

I used the portal again perhaps about a week ago? And have been back up to 400 consistently for several days, so I don't see letting your sats run down affecting the daily limit. I was around 400 each time when I collected 23 for two days.

Also I've noticed that the cumulative sats are gone. Before, if I didn't collect the full amount, it would double for the next day. That's very definitely gone.

In my experience, the sats that spawn randomly on the field stop after you have more than 50, so it's a bit weird that you were getting them with up to 350.

Probably doesn't help that I let it play automatically most of the time. 1¢ isn't a very good time investment. I've been hoping that the guy with the special monsters will appear again, but he's probably disappeared again by the time I get back to look at my phone.

Yeah, I've noticed that some of the lower ones actually have better attack. A higher attack level means not needing to use the portal for longer.

Although I haven't worked out if using the portal more often is better. But you do get bonuses for unlocking new monsters, so...

@cedar mountain @warm dove I know you were talking about this awhile ago but I thought it would be helpful information to share:
I've found that the game will "pause" progression on 4 different occasions:

1. You didn't kill the boss in time.

2. You have a menu option open when you are supposed to move on to the boss. (e.g. buying new upgrades)

3. The wandering trader appears to sell you a legendary. This appears to still occur even after you have maxed out all the dragons.

   • This one is the most aggravating because you have to close the app to reset it otherwise it will not auto-progress at all and you have to hit fight boss every time. But after you reopen the app, it should give you a 4? hour window that it shouldn't appear again because it thinks it is still offering it to you.

4. At the same spots where the journal entries would appear, even after you have completed them.

   • I have recorded them several times and they are consistent and there is a pattern: 30,40,60,90,130,190,270,370,500,660 etc.. (This is the one where it stays on the Done screen after beating the boos)

Since the game is basically "abandoned," I don't suspect these type bugs will ever get fixed. The red exclamation stuck on the achievements because of ZBD being linked, or on the upgrades button once things are maxed, is still there.

The upgrades bug is also pretty annoying because, like the achievements, you have to check every now and then, to see if you can click on something.

That's interesting about why the autobattle pauses, though. I was assuming that the trader had a unique monster that you can't get elsewhere, but I haven't seen him appear again. But yeah, I'll come back, and I can see from the daily achievements that the autobattles haven't happened!

The Sat limit is actually part of the play time rewards from ZBD. They actually control all the sats in the game and not Fumb.

So I was able to get my game client to reconnect. Simply restarting the game (that would usually work) was not working this time. I tried clearing the cache, but it didn't seem to have an effect. So I cleared the game data, which by itself did not fix it, but once I restarted a few times, it finally reconnected.

The game data needed to be cleared anyways, as it had ballooned up to 1.2 GB, probably mostly ads. Why the ads aren't stored in the cache is beyond me.

It won't. It's a bug. In this case, it's caused by the ZBD account link "achievement" being complete, but any of the achievement being maxed cause it. The upgrades will similarly get a red exclamation once you get them maxed that will not go away.

Jump into the portal and reset your monsters back to the beginning, but speed up the evolution of them. Also, don't forget to do your upgrades to speed up spawn, spawn level and gems. Once I hit the top level monster I jump into the portal and bank those power points to upgrade faster.

As soon as I hit the max level monster I jump the portal. It's around 2 mil portal power. At that point the game pace has gotten slow as it's taking more hits to eliminate the enemy so it takes longer to get to the boss and now even longer to get seats as it's every 4th boss.

It amazes me how some people will send a support ticket or email just to complain about something or point out that a full stop is missing on a sentence. Like that's the most important thing going for them. 🤣 I used to work a support desk many years ago and the queries would sometimes leave you bewildered.

Supposedly Fumb hasn't updated the game in a long time, but ZBD has been updating it, which means that Fumb had to of handled off the source code to them.

Mergemonsters is insanely buggy. I earn sats randomly, it's supposed to be every other boss kill but it's completely random and yes I've restarted the game many times and every time I minimize the game I have to disable and re-enable auto merging

Yeah, the automerge is buggy, but only ZBD have updated the app recently – it's run almost exclusively by them, particularly the sats earnings.

They've changed the limit to max 200 stored. Withdrawal limit still is per region. And it's now every third boss where you earn sats.

The daily limit currently doesn't reset until you reach a cumulative amount.

IE: If it's 100 Sats limit and you withdrew 99 on day one and waited three days you will only get 1 on the next withdraw and trigger a 24 hour cooldown.

This is a ZBD controlled payout. They keep changing the daily Sats one can get from the game. @cedar mountain is from Belgium and I am from South Africa and we also only get 13 Sats per day to withdraw (region based limit). If Bitcoin dips below 110K then it goes up to 23. LOL! The Sats earning for this game is different to the other Fumb Games, as said, ZBD Controls the payouts. The daily limit of other Fumb Games (Idle Mine and Bitcoin Miner) does not apply to this game. I do wonder why your daily limit is so low, seeing you live in Canada, and you are not the first Canadian I have heard mention that their Sats earnings have dropped. Even with other Sats games (which we will not discuss here).

Mergemonster is only Android for sats earning

It's pretty straight forward. You just merge two monsters together to make a higher level monster. It's easier to activate the auto-merge, as it's way faster then doing it yourself. Your monsters fight the enemy monsters, and every tenth monster is a boss that requires you to tap to attack. You can buy an upgrade that will attack the bosses automatically as well. Like Bitcoin Miner, you can prestige to start over with a percent bonus to gold gain.

The game didn't originally have sats at all. ZBD is the one that added them. Why they didn't do iOS, we don't know. Fumb hasn't updated the game themselves in a long time, and frankly, it may be on the way to the Fumb Graveyard™ given that fact.

It's definitely a balance between how far you want to advance it, and keeping earning.

There's a few glitches.

With the automerge, you have to turn it off and on again every time you restart the app.

With the autobattle, for some reason it just stops working, sometimes because you're busy with something else, opening a gift for example. The only way I've found to get it to work again is to restart.

Fumb have effectively abandoned this game, so the only updates are via ZBD now. I've no idea if there's any development planned in the future. It was actually ZBD who asked to take it over.

IE: If it's 100 Sats limit and you withdrew 99 on day one and waited three days you will only get 1 on the next withdraw and trigger a 24 hour cooldown.

The game has multiple soft limits for sats. As you have seen, there is a soft cap on sats spawning on the field once you have a certain amount held. Furthermore, there is a soft cap on gaining sats from bosses once you hold a certain amount. Then there is the cap on the amount you can withdraw per day. These amounts vary at the whims of ZBD.

24 is better than it was, as it was as low as 13 at one point. I've no idea why, as Blocks of Bitcoin is also controlled by ZBD, and that appears unlimited. I believe many have stopped playing because of the low limit, which will mean less revenue, and also a lower withdrawal limit.

I mostly let the game just play automated. It's free money, even if it's just two cents.

A wonderful update / bug fix would be allowing us to collect the Spawned Bitcoins units during the Boss battles.

Its very disheartening to see a Sat spawn, right as the commercial begins, or the boss battle ends. Cause you know its not going to last long enough to collect.

LOL. I tried to withdraw my limit earlier today (202 sats) and I got an error that there was an issue with the wallet or something like that and to try again in a few hours. Admittedly, I tried again in a few minutes instead and got the same error. Well I came back a couple hours later which was just now and went to try again and my balance in game shows as -202 sats. Sure enough, despite the error, both went through and I ended up withdrawing 404 sats. Do I owe you guys 202 now or do I just play my way back out of the hole? 😂

Obviously I didn't do it with any ill intent, hope that is clear. I just figured sometimes it's a bug on my end and restarting the game will clear it up and that's just how things played out.

The reason that we do this, is to give each country a proportionate amount of SATs based on the revenue generated there. The withdrawal limit and sats earnings are set by ZBD, and it's really a game that it appears that they don't want you to earn on. From a sats-earning boss only one in every three, to an extremely throttled withdrawal limit (just 24 here).

The core game can be fun at times, and there's still some worthy strategies, but don't expect to earn big.

There was someone here when I first started the game who said you should enter the portal frequently, but it doesn't have a timer like Bitcoin Miner, so it's hard to say when is a good time. So I do it once the bosses become hard to defeat. It also means that, when there's a boss with sats, you get the full 3.

Yes. But you have to deactivate then reactivate the automerge when you load the game, as there's a bug that deactivates it when offline.
